Green girl is a mysterious girl with vibrant green hair and a wild spirit to match. 

She wandered into the imagination of Cynthia Thornton nearly seven years ago. 

The girl with the green hair decided to appear to Cynthia over and over again until the story was made clear. 

After this, Cynthia was inspired to paint Green Girl as she came to know her, in her egg tempera paintings and her dolls.

 Green Girl is the Sea King's daughter, born with the misfortune of having legs rather than a tail, unlike her mermaid sisters. 

Unsuited to living underwater, Green Girl lives on the Beach of All Things Lost, where she avidly searches for lost relics. 

Green girls bird girl cousins return these lost items to their owners. 

However, sometimes the owners of these lost treasures have passed on, so the items are kept and carefully catalogued by Green Girl.

With this in mind, Cynthia and Sheila Thornton made it their job to create beads and pendants for jewelry that resemble the ancient relics Green Girl has found on the Beach of All Things Lost.
